Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans for The Paramount Group’s family of brands, including but not limited to brand management, advertising, digital marketing, and public relations. The Marketing Manager must have a clear understanding of their audience and customers, and have strong writing, analytical and organization skills.
The Marketing Manager is an integral part of a rapidly growing company that is fast-paced and deadline driven. This individual will be held accountable for practices that are sustainable, efficient, accurate, and measurable. It is an expectation that the Marketing Manager is able to work flexible and in some cases non-traditional hours to ensure the job is completed.

The Marketing Manager will have experience and strong skills related to content development (WordPress), SEO strategy, email marketing (MailChimp), Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). In addition, the Marketing Manager is expected to have extremely strong writing skills, great attention to detail, and be able to communicate effectively both in writing and in person. Understanding and experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
• Build and protect the external brand voice, identity, and customer experience for The Paramount Group’s family of brands
• Shape visual identity and storytelling across all brands
• Manage the guest experience online and in print, and work to drive sales across brand portfolio
• Act as liaison with outside vendors, external advertising, and public relations agencies
• Work in collaboration with outside design firms, creative, and PR agencies to generate digital and print content as part of the overall brand strategy
• Collaborate with multiple departments to develop, execute and measure high-impact marketing and advertising that supports strategic priorities and promotes services, products and events for all brands
• Consistently monitor web analytics and provide executives updates on SEO, email, and social KPIs across website properties to determine progress and areas of opportunity
• Daily responsibilities for all websites including: blog postings, picture uploads, content updates, and required edits
• Catalog all advertising, media presence, and editorial content online
• Update and upload materials to affiliate sites on weekly basis
• Perform any other tasks as needed by management

Skills and Abilities for Success:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with great attention to detail in writing (delivery of written content with no spelling or grammatical errors)
• Understanding of foundational SEO, HTML, and CSS
• Superior skills with WordPress, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, and Google Analytics
• Ability to quickly learn, implement, and leverage new digital marketing software tools to improve business outcomes

• Excellent people management skills; the ability to build strong working relationships with marketing staff, cross-functional teams, hourly service and facilities staff, B2B and B2C customers, and third party agencies
• Positive attitude and work ethic – ability to muti-task and problem solve, resourceful, and highly efficient under timelines. Ability to find creative solutions to overcome roadblocks, rather than just finding reasons why something can’t be accomplished
• Ability to collect, analyze, and distill insights from data that lead to actions and improved business outcomes
• Ability to manage community partners and relationships
• Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours as needed to complete work
Required Education/Experience:
• Bachelor Degree or higher in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, or other applicable degrees
• 5+ years of digital marketing experience; proven track record of success in brand marketing, experience in hospitality or restaurant industry, and experience managing a portfolio of brands
