TechNexus partners with corporations to rethink growth from entrepreneurial angles and execution approaches.  We call this Venture-Enabled Innovation.  We provide corporations an end-to-end platform with an integrated capability set spanning strategy, venturing, incubation, and commercialization.  And we invest in and scale promising startups aligned with those strategies.  To date, we’ve worked with dozens of corporations and helped grow over 400 ventures, raising $450M+ in funding.

We are looking for a marketing manager to support TechNexus’ overall growth by driving execution on key marketing functions and managing various projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to interpret industry and technology trends, venture ecosystem activity, and market positioning.
  • Manage relationships with external support partners (e.g. copywriters, agencies) to drive marketing activities.
  • Support TechNexus business development activities and the overall growth of the firm:
    • Coordinate content and programming for TechNexus events, workshops, and dinners
    • Support channel partner relationships, interfacing regularly to provide content, arrange programming, and pursue joint opportunities
    • Identify conferences and events for participation; developing a strategy and presence for doing so, and managing attendance and execution
    • Create value-added, nurture marketing content around potential partners’ businesses
    • Secure speaking opportunities at events to promote TechNexus thought leadership
  • Responsibility for TechNexus web presence, ensuring up-to-date content and copy across website, social media, blogs, etc.
  • Develop creative and technical white papers, blog posts, case studies, and collateral that express TechNexus thought leadership.
    • Leverage distribution channels to drive content engagement and achieve maximum brand exposure.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, with a preference for consulting experience
  • Strong writing and grammatical skills as well as verbal communication.
  • Track record of success with content marketing in a B2B environment. Including a portfolio of articles, white papers, case studies, presentations, and briefings.
  • Desire to learn - evaluate competitive marketing reports and trends as inputs to a scalable and sustainable outreach model for content delivery
  • Leadership mentality and entrepreneurial spirit is a must.
  • A self-starter who can work well collaboratively, deliver on promises, prioritize assignments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
