Purpose

The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for monitoring, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives as they relate to G2 Crowd’s sales and marketing goals.

This person will work closely with marketing leadership, and partner with the sales leadership and operations teams. They will manage the relationship between marketing and sales operations to ensure both sides are optimized to deliver (marketing’s role) and work (sales’ role) the highest quality leads and marketing-qualified-leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Own lead and mql management process and metrics, setup and optimize HubSpot and Salesforce campaigns and their tracking, and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation, account-based marketing, and database management - and monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database.
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing & sales systems workflows (in HubSpot), and how they are optimized to deliver leads and MQLs into our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact - which will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the business.
  • Collaborate with marketing teammates and other project stakeholders in sales and the executive leadership team to accomplish marketing, sales, and company goals.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in online marketing
  • Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot, and integrating and optimizing it with Salesforce.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field
