The Digital Media Buyer will be responsible for planning and executing digital ad campaigns across a variety of mediums that include, but are not limited to display (traditional and programmatic), email, newsletter sponsored content, influencer partnerships, podcasts, digital billboards, and more with the goal of generating high value, targeted traffic for All Campus partner universities and their specific programs.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated tactical and strategic excellence creating and running successful and cost-effective multi-media marketing campaigns. Candidates need to be self-starters who are passionate about their work, analytical and innovative in their thinking; and team players motivated to deliver exceptional results for a rapidly growing organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review existing and conduct independent research to identify, isolate, and engage target audiences.
  • Integrate research and analysis from previous initiatives to plan and execute new media campaigns.
  • Manage data and knowledge bases with new and updated information about target audiences including demographics, psychographics, size, engagement rates, etc.
  • Compare and negotiate rates for ad buys.
  • Identify optimal mix of media for active and projected campaigns.
  • Manage budgets and track cost and performance of ad buys, partners, and overall campaign performance.
  • Develop and maintain media calendars.
  • Conduct and report on experiments on new and existing platforms and channels.
  • Identify innovative strategies and new efficiencies for ad planning and buying
  • Create and present reports to internal and external stakeholders to demonstrate expertise and nurture long term relationships.
  • Coordinate launch of media campaigns with marketing, design, and partnership services departments.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Background in business, marketing, communications, quantitative, or engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in media/ad buying, digital marketing or programmatic display advertising.
  • Experience with display/programmatic campaign management is a [big] plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and planning skills.
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking.
  • Certifications on Google Analytics and other relevant digital ad buying desks/platforms are a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office/Google Suite experience is preferred.
