Summary of Position
We’re looking for a highly organized paid search marketing specialist who will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks and monitoring of PPC, display, paid social and other online marketing channels. You will conduct keyword research, build campaigns, optimize bids, write ad copy, run ad copy tests and much more. You will be accountable for increasing lead volume and lowering cost per lead over time. The paid search marketing specialist will have the opportunity to collaborate with other members of the marketing team and interact closely with the product, sales and account management teams.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of paid search experience, great attention to detail, have a desire to learn new things and be excited to be part of a growing team. You will report directly to the Director of Digital Marketing.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of SEM campaigns in Google, Bing and Yahoo
- Build new campaigns when new service categories are launched
- Conduct ad copy testing and create reports to track progress
- Make keyword bid changes to effectively drive more leads while maintaining or lowering CPL
- Regularly add irrelevant negative keywords to maximize campaign efficiency
- Occasionally upload new keywords based on your research and/or suggestions from Google and Bing account teams
- Actively communicate with Google and Bing account reps to set up new accounts, troubleshoot issues, expedite ad reviews, find out about new betas, etc.
- Create and optimize display campaigns on the Google Display Network
- Assist in management of Facebook paid social campaigns
- Build new websites when new service categories are launched using our proprietary, user-friendly platform
- Update daily, weekly and monthly reports for all digital marketing channels
- Stay up to date on digital marketing industry trends
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or a related field
- 1-3 years of hands-on management of paid search campaigns in Google AdWords and Bing Ads, either in an agency or in-house environment
- 1+ years of experience managing display campaigns on the Google Display Network, including retargeting and prospecting
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable creating and using pivot tables
- Highly analytical and comfortable analyzing and translating data from web analytics tools into actionable SEM and display strategies
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive with a high sense of urgency and not afraid to try new things!
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience managing paid social campaigns in Facebook
- Google AdWords and Google Analytics certified
- Experience writing basic SQL queries
