About this position

The PR and Social Media Specialist will support the execution and delivery of communication strategies to build visibility for Showpad across the globe. In this role, you will drive our global PR programs, speaking and awards programs, organic social media and employer branding efforts to increase awareness and loyalty for Showpad both internally and externally. 

 Key Responsibilities of the PR and Social Media Specialist at Showpad

  • Support the management of global PR teams and execution of PR strategy with the goal to increase brand awareness and position Showpad as an industry thought leader
  • Ensure a consistent and clear message in line with Showpad’s mission and values throughout all communication channels 
  • Work with PR teams to coordinate interviews and draft, edit and review PR content, such as bylined articles, written commentary and speaking and award submissions
  • Manage the tracking and reporting of press articles and company announcements and amplify them across social media and other appropriate channels
  • Support competitive intelligence efforts through regular research on competitors and tracking of trends in the sales enablement space
  • Manage Showpad’s corporate social media accounts with drafting of content and real-time engagement

Skills and qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, communications or journalism
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in PR
  • Previous B2B SaaS experience is a plus
  • Strong track record of media pitching and placement and/or successful management of a PR agency
  • Experience managing corporate social media accounts and driving social media strategy
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; excellent proofreading skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and work with global teams
  • Ability to be accountable, meet deadlines, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure, while maintaining quality
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • An endless curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
