Position Summary
We are looking for a strategic-minded problem-solver able to bring our services and solutions to life, with an eye toward continual innovation. The team you will join is newly formed and inspired by an increased company focus on listening to “the voice of the customer,” and creating unified branding & messaging content across business units to respond to that voice. From a strategic standpoint, most content will be derived from best-practice Customer Experience design and will report to the Head of Customer Experience.
You must be able to deeply understand a variety of restaurant personas, including what piece of the business they own and how they can best be served by our solutions. You also must be able to understand the nuances of sophisticated technology and clearly disseminate the value: solutions over features.
You’ll be responsible for building content, doing market research, gathering and analyzing client data, and collaborating with a variety of teams (Sales, Product, Ops, Service) to strategize and execute on go to market campaigns.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
Create killer content for marketing platforms and business development materials, including training content, digital advertising, social media content, presentations, leave behind materials, and case studies
Assist in operational development of Customer Experience and Product Marketing dept.
Recommend and execute strategies to optimize customer journeys and experiences
Know your product area inside and out, prioritize work where our team can have the most impact, and connect your content recommendations to user outcomes and business goals.
Crafts value propositions and brand messaging maps tailored to a variety of audiences
Train and coach various business units on brand value and proper messaging
Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to design, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns
Know not just how to collect data, but analyze and present substantive, material findings on where to improve user experiences
Define & monitor the success of product marketing programs and regularly report to key stakeholders, to identify opportunities for improvement
Be a trusted voice that shares and demonstrates the impact of marketing best practices with business and sales partners

Requirements:
3-5 years of marketing experience, with emphasis on designing and delivering digital content, training content, product webinars, outbound email campaigns, social media, PR/media, sales enablement. Exposure to event planning and promotion is a plus.
Demonstrated success introducing products in B2B or B2C markets
Extensive client-facing success (B2B buyers in the restaurant industry, a plus)
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Experience providing training, marketing and branding support to diverse teams
Experience in product marketing or product management in high growth technology companies strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with diverse internal and external teams
Demonstrated ability to tell data-driven stories through multiple channels
Strong organizational and workflow management skills
Experience with content marketing publishing and analytics tools
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time while working
Must be able to proficiently operate a computer and desk phone as means of communication with colleagues and clients
Must be able to occasionally travel to on-site client meetings on a local and national scale
Must be able to clearly present material to groups of people either in person or via electronic means of communication
Must be able to report into our Chicago HQ office
