About The Role

The Senior Designer will have experience supporting digital and traditional marketing efforts (including website design) as well as working with (internal and external) developers and product marketing teams. You will remain hands-on through each project’s completion, collaborating with business partners and others to ensure accuracy, consistency, and design excellence.You’ll also be part of the brand team helping to define and enforce Yello’s brand.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Increase the impact of our marketing efforts by ideating and designing creative and effective assets across all marketing channels and initiatives
  • Own creative strategy for  company website, powerpoint templates, video, blog, webinars, email messages, social media assets, sales materials, thought leadership pieces and white papers, landing pages, recruiting collateral, internal communications, emails, online advertisements, event displays and collateral design, and conference branding. Assist with promotional items designs. 
  • Translate Yello’s business and technical requirements into designs that are visually appealing, easy to use and emotionally engaging
  • Compress images to optimize page speed and to work within responsive design
  • Take a user-centered design approach to test and iterate your designs with members of the Marketing team
  • Work with Marketing to create visual A/B tests to maximize engagement 
  • Juggle multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations
  • Participate in presentations to internal clients and key stakeholders
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas
  • Managing and/or coordinating with design freelancers

What We're Looking For

  • 3 to 5 years of design experience 
  • HTML/CSS experience
  • Strong portfolio to be presented during interview
  • Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
  • Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator
  • Experience with UX design and an understanding of mobile and responsive design
  • Creative ideas with problem solving mindset
  • Open to feedback and working closely with team members to achieve objectives
  • Experience with adding images and/or creating landing pages in a marketing automation tool or CMS is a plus (Marketo or WordPress)
  • Prior experience with B2B, SaaS products is a plus
  • This role frequently communicates/interacts with individuals, must have strong verbal and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to sit or stand for continuous periods of time
