 About the position 

Looking for a seasoned digital leader to develop our online presence, lead our digital strategy and manage SEO/SEM team. Under your leadership the digital team will execute SEM/SEO tactics in support of the digital strategy to improve web conversion and drive qualified leads to the marketing funnel. You will set the stage for best in class digital programs including but not limited to paid search campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy testing, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management, and agency/vendor management. With a keen eye on metrics, regularly analyze and create actionable reporting on all digital marketing initiatives overseen by the position, including website(s), organic search rankings, paid search metrics, social media, etc., to continuously optimize overall online mix and performance. 

Some day to day activities may include

  • Deploying various usability, creative, and conversion tests to continuously improve the customer experience and drive optimized performance and improved KPI’s. 
  • Manage SEO strategy for website and work with team to execute campaigns including UX and content analysis.
  • Manage an annual budget and track actual vs. budgeted amounts – this will include forecasting, invoicing, expense reconciliation and other activities as necessary. 
  • Work with your team to implement media campaigns across various digital platforms (Adwords, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, among others).
  • Build reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of campaigns on a regular cadence.

Technical Skills

  • In depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, Website strategies, display, retargeting, and paid Social for B2B organizations
  • In depth knowledge of WordPress CMS
  • In depth understanding of Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager (certified a plus)
  • In depth understanding of digital marketing platforms, including Google AdWords (Search & Display Networks) LinkedIn and Facebook/Yahoo advertising (Adwords certified a plus)
  • In depth understanding of key digital metrics and B2B benchmarks across the digital marketing funnel
  • An understanding of usability tools such as Optimizely and Crazy Egg
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources into meaning insights and actionable recommendations 
  • Ability to visualize data for both technical and non-technical audience
  • Intermediate skills in Excel 

Knowledge Skills

  • Minimum 5-7 years digital marketing experience
  • Ability to build relationships and work with global teams.
  • Project management skills/ability to multitask and prioritize 
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare and interpret reports, and communicate actionable results, findings, and recommendations 
  • Ability to quickly assimilate and distill complex technology 
  • An understanding of UX and its connection to SEO and how to improve
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within the team
