Guaranteed Rate is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable SEO Manager to join our Marketing team. To be successful in this role, your skill set should include exceptional analytical skills, effective communication and being able to collaborate with various dynamic and creative teams. As a SEO Manager you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our SEO strategy. As our online presence is extremely important for the success of the business your position will play a key role in driving growth and success.

Role Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy
• Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization
• Regularly perform thorough keyword research
• Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
• Identify problems and deficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with developers and product team
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends
• Perform website audits and develop recommendations to ensure SEO best practice
• Provide site structure recommendations (including information architecture, navigation, design, conversion, etc.) as they apply to SEO
• Provide competitive and market opportunity analyses as they relate to search intent, competitor niche saturation, backlink profiles, and SERP anomalies
• Develop monthly performance reports using programs like Google Analytics, SEMRush, Moz, etc.
• Effectively communicate to stakeholders the opportunity for, and value of, website changes, updates, and content revisions

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as SEO Manager or similar role
• Proven success in SEO and marketing
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• In-depth knowledge of and experience in analyzing data
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
• Experience deriving technical insight from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and directly from SERPs
• Knowledge of technical, usability, and content-related aspects of a website and their impact on search
• Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Business or a related field
