Social Media Director

Launched in 2013, we bring over 20 years of marketing and publishing expertise to the Influencer Marketing industry. We’ve built hundreds of campaigns to date, utilizing our talented staff and award-winning bloggers and Instagrammers, so we aren’t just marketing experts, we’re production experts as well. We are a high energy, fast-paced company, a place where entrepreneurial self-starters thrive and are currently seeking candidates to join our team as our Social Media Director.
This person MUST have at least 5 years in a dedicated social media lead role, ideally with B2B social. Candidate will need to be responsible for Travel Mindset's overarching social media strategy, as well as assist with client's social + influencer strategy, while simultaneously capable of implementing on such actions/strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker- someone who can both plan and exectute on social campaigns & new product launches. It also requires a ability to provide creative content on a consistent basis. In addition:
- Provide thought leadership and drive social innovation
- You know that paid is essential: Counsult with clients on best practices incorporating paid social into an overall social strategy. Display an understanding of the functionality, strategies behind social media driven campaigns and best practices of the major social platforms.
- Service and grow existing clients as the social media relationship lead, while expanding social agency services with new business and organic upselling growth opportunities
- Stay up to date on new social media tools, best practices, competitive activity and other social media leaders to bring early adopter technologies and trends to Vital Proteins.
- Handle client KPI’s and comprehensive reporting that delivers on ROI
- Create/add to current agency strategy (blog, email, event activations, etc.)
- Create digital marketing graphics (especially for social media — Canva can be used), social headlines and content
- Overhaul our current eNewsletter & Twitter Chat strategy and execution thereof
Must have:
- You have expertise and in-depth knowledge of today's top social platforms
- Understand B2B social marketing as a lead gen tool
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work under short deadlines while quickly identifying priorities and sticking to deadlines
- Some Influencer and/or Influencer Marketing experience is looked upon highly
- Small company experience and ability to be a self-starter
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be prepared to work remotely, after hours as needed. If you prefer 9-5 hours, our company is not for you.
- Bachelor's degree
Compensation:
