The Opportunity

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in social media marketing.
• We are looking for a highly experienced Social Media Lead who will be responsible for managing social media projects, research, content development, design and execution. The Social Media Lead will be responsible for owning and maintaining content on social media channels, generating and executing new ideas, and reporting and analyzing results and KPIs.
• This full-time position requires the ability to enact and standardize social media content like memes, posts, promotions, video, audience engagement and more for all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. • You have experience managing every aspect of large social media campaigns, from ideation to execution and tracking.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze and report competitive marketing campaigns. Monitor account performance daily and establish KPIs for each account to monitor and report on.
• Manage OppLoans’ social channels including, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, etc. Use social monitoring tools to create actionable next steps based on data. Experiment and optimize our channels. Report KPIs that measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns
• Delight our community with prompt, fun, clever, and helpful responses to all their questions
• Develop goals and benchmark criteria to measure the effectiveness of social media programs and implement improvements as needed
• Serve as social media copywriter for the OppLoans brand.
• Build and sustain brand conversations across various social media channels as well as manage and protect brand perceptions online. In short – write, edit, post and proof content and copy daily. Be responsible for day-to-day management of all OppLoans social media initiatives.

Your Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and or experience specializing in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications or related field.
• You are familiar with social media performance tools and are comfortable with metrics commonly used to measure digital marketing campaigns.
• 5+ years of social media experience, including a track record of building and sustaining brand conversations across various social media channels, and managing every aspect of large social media campaigns.
• Must have social media management experience and understand the unique editorial value of each social media platform. Keen sense of awareness within the internet culture with a strong understanding of the digital marketing environment, including web, mobile, media and advertising.
• Expertise in social media best practices and trends. You use social media for both personal and professional life (notably Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, and Instagram).

Preferred Experience:

• Strong analytical skills and a passion for uncovering what makes content successful and building on it.
• Strategic and creative thinker who can bring fresh ideas to a rapidly growing business and changing industry.
• Thorough understanding of the digital/social universe and the ability to tap into emerging trends, platforms and technologies.
• You have a solid understanding of analytics, measuring and interpreting key campaign metrics.
