The Sr. Associate of Brand Reputation PR will be based in Chicago or New York and report to the Director of Brand Reputation. The role will work with the Communications team, and our Government Relations, Community Affairs, Employee Engagement, Restaurant Network and Driver Network teams - among others. They will also coordinate with external agencies and third-party partners (i.e. nonprofits and NGOs). They have experience working on advocacy campaigns, working knowledge of how paid content supports strategic communications goals, and experience supporting proactive PR campaigns.
They should also have experience drafting newsroom postings, social media content and press releases. They will also help support our Corporate Philanthropy and Community Affairs initiatives. In short, they are a well-rounded, PR pro looking to grow their career by getting hands-on experience in multiple different areas!
The Impact You Will Make
- You will help look for new and different ways to tell the story of how Grubhub supports independent restaurants, our drivers and the communities we serve
- You will coordinate with external agencies, identifying opportunities to place paid content to support broader communications campaigns
- You will help manage Grubhub's social media presence with content related to policy communications and government affairs, community affairs and corporate news
What You Bring to the Table
- 4+ years of experience in-house or with an agency
- An organized, team player who can jump in on projects where needed and contribute quickly
- Experience working with external partners
- Familiarity with measurement and analytics capabilities and their impact on corporate communications and public relations
