Grubhub is looking for a Sr. Associate, Market Programs to develop and execute marketing campaigns to support the growth of Grubhub through merger and acquisitions as well as local marketing tests. Reporting into our Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing primarily marketing programs for M&A efforts along with localized online and offline marketing campaigns that result in diner acquisition. This role requires someone that is just as passionate about analytics as s/he is about thinking about thinking about the user experience from a marketing campaign. While a self-starter, this person will also be a team-player that’s comfortable working across multiple teams and departments to execute marketing programs that support company-wide goals.
Some Challenges You’ll Tackle
- Project manage marketing execution for M&As and special projects
- Implement marketing campaigns in markets with opportunity for growth, using hyperlocal targeting, direct response and awareness media channels, local activations and partnerships
- Support execution of new marketing tests to acquire diners throughout the year, measure results of efforts through ROI analysis, and scale the tactics that work
- Prioritize and support marketing needs of General Managers
- Collaborate across teams including Operations, Finance, Sales, Creative, Brand, PR and Marketing to implement go-to market strategy; Work with the social media, SEM, email, display, and traditional media teams to make optimization decisions in priority markets
- Closely track and forecast marketing budget and promotional spend
- Stay abreast of food delivery service trends and monitor competitive environment
You Should Have
- BA in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or another quantitative field
- 3-5 years experience in performance-based, integrated marketing
- Excellent project management skills
- Proven ability to utilize data driven insights to initiate action
- Entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable with change
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a laser-like focus on the details.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to clearly communicate results, key learnings, areas of opportunities for programs
- Proactive approach and enthusiasm to problem identification and solving
