The Associate Manager of Advertising Technology will grow revenue by developing and optimizing media channels through the AD Retail Media program. This person will have direct ownership of digital advertising channels, and will use their expertise to identify potential new channels. They will partner with product management, development, and other Ahold Delhaize brand teams to deliver on innovative solutions to grow monetized channels.

Recipe for Success - What's "in store" for the role

• Support implementing the strategy for advertising technology and monetization channels for PDL Media. 

• Project and product management for all aspects of the development, implementation and growth of all assigned media channels, including new and existing channels.

• Work within developed business models to maximize channel yield and profitability. 

• Track ROI of mature and developing monetized channels to ensure that revenue targets are being hit, and lead efforts to make any adjustments as necessary. 

• Partner with internal and external teams to design, test and maximize the value of each monetized channel 

• Actively support discovery, assessment and business planning of third-party media and data partnerships or platforms to drive revenue share from indirect media channels. 

• Participate in the efforts related to new and renegotiated contracts with third-party partners, and partner with legal, finance and accounting stakeholders to successfully complete the contracting process. 

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients

• 5+ years of experience in advertising technology integrations and services, retail media, digital place-based media, online publisher monetization and yield management, digital advertising operations or digital media sales, digital advertising campaign analytics.

• Advertising Technology and Marketing Automation, particularly within retail applications 

• Ad serving, publisher yield, fill rates and performance optimization 

• Retail media trends and best practices 

• Data management platforms 

• Data onboarding/matching (i.e. Liveramp) 

• Online/Offline media measurement, attribution 

• Privacy regulations and best practices 

Extra Spices - What you should bring to the table

• Demonstrated ability to grow a business idea from incubation to maturity and effectively manage through the various stages of a product lifecycle. 

• Help the Ad Retail Media team achieve revenue targets by identifying and delivering ad product innovation 

• Obsessed with driving continuous improvement 

• Agency management, developing partnerships with third party service/technology vendors 

• Technical selling or the ability to join sales calls to describe capabilities to drive more demand for advertising products offered by PDL
