Enterprise Analytics

Lead the Enterprise Analytics team managing and delivering analytics capabilities across the organization. Reports into the Shared Services Technology Organization and the Director of Corporate Applications, Analytics & Data. The responsibility includes driving strategy, delivery and support of core analytics platforms.

Role engages with senior leadership across business and technology to help deliver solutions catering to the business. Manages a global team of ~75 employees and contractors and annual delivery of $10 million in projects.

Management activities include oversight for employees, contractors, projects, BAU efforts as well as overseeing core analytics platforms like Cognos, Power BI, Sisense and others. Also includes day to day management and maintenance of the application software and engaging with other peer managers in ensuring broad delivery of analytics across the portfolio.

Lastly, includes developing, implementing, and communicating an overall strategy to continue driving analytics across the enterprise and ensuring alignment with Technology strategic objectives.

Major Duties

1) Manage multiple units or functions through the direct management of a group of managers. Oversees, plans, and directs the activities for the units, ensuring that the business objectives are being met.

2) Oversee the financials and staff resources, including developing and managing capital and expense budgets, and ensuring that resources are available to accomplish the objectives set for the area.

3 )Develops and manages programs to support risk management and compliance objectives.

4) Oversee core analytics platforms, evaluating new platforms/technologies and driving strategic vision

5) Ensure all projects, especially those aligned with the Corporation's strategic initiatives, are understood and progressing as expected.

6) Develop and communicate roadmap / strategy for products and services that the team provides.

7) Implement effective capacity and performance management strategies and communicate effectively to senior IT and business managers.

8) Run division as a business and report regularly on key metrics that highlight increased productivity, increased client satisfaction, improved stability etc. 9) Understand TCO of platforms and formulate strategies that reduce TCO, reduce time to market for services, improve stability, reliability and security and improve employee and customer experience.

Job Requirements

1) Extensive knowledge around Analytics, tools, best practices around architecture, design and delivery of solutions.

2) Management experience handing multiple teams.

3) Robust understanding of data modeling and integration.

4) Ability to multi-task across areas of responsibility, projects, BAU work, budgetary responsibilities.

5) Exposure to industry leading tools and technology trends for analytics.

Experience

1) Minimum 15 years IT industry experience and 10 years managerial experience.

2) Atleast 7 years' experience in Analytics

3) Preferably 7 years' experience within Financial Services.
