The IT Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the office community’s IT needs. A successful candidate will have solid technical skills, great communications skills, and the ability to support a growing user base on a wide variety of platforms. Technologies include PCs/Windows, Apple Macintosh (a plus, not a must), Voice over IP telephony (a plus, not a must), printers, copiers, fax machines and a wide variety of mobile devices.
Responsibilities include:
• Laptop/desktop hardware and software support
• System deployment for new users and upgrades
• Maintaining and updating deployed system inventory
• Responding to user requests in a timely and complete way
• Maintaining office devices such as copiers, printers and fax machines
• Documenting work 
• Triage and route all manner of help desk tickets
• Recommending system upgrades and enhancements
• Providing after hours support as required

Qualifications:• Support and management of Windows, Mac (a plus, not a must) and Linux PCs
• 1+ years of experience supporting end users
• Experience using and supporting Microsoft Office products, other productivity applications and antivirus software
• Familiar with TCP/IP; experienced securing and supporting internet connected computers
