Manager - US Equities Trading

We are seeking a Manager - US Equities Trading to join our rapidly growing global workforce in Chicago. A strong candidate will have a proven record of effective leadership and measurable performance growth across the organization. This individual will have a unique combination of firsthand trading knowledge, balanced with a commitment to the highest levels of compliance and customer service. We are looking for an individual that can supervise the activity of others and design accountability measure that maintain these standards of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the trading team, ensuring that operations and trading are consistently efficient and accurate
- Maintain and manage client relationships and act as a focused and dependable resource to an actively growing retail accounts
- Provide timely, accurate, and informative tools and answers to inquiries
- Supervise and oversee retail accounts for compliance with US broker dealer regulations
- Error account reporting and issue management
- Responsible for growing the business by leveraging network to grow opportunities
- Facilitate discussions and workshops with colleagues to review the evaluation of processes, recommended improvement opportunities, and proposed roadmap
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Engineering preferred
- 5+ years experience within a change or consulting function in capital markets
- Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses required
- Series 24 with a Series 4 for Options is preferred
- Technology implementation experience
- Have a thorough understanding of US securities regulations, including specific knowledge of Reg BI, Market Access, Best Ex, and Books and Records
- Extensive knowledge of trading and standard activities within retail accounts
- Understanding of the processes, procedures, and regulatory landscape of an equity and option trading desk
