Operational Resiliency Oversight Specialist
SUMMARY
A senior team member of the Operational Resiliency Oversight Function within the Global Operational Resiliency Office supporting Asset Servicing, responsible for supporting the oversight reporting and execution of the Operational Resiliency initiatives. Supporting the team manager and wider business in support of the delivery of key projects. Provides guidance to others as necessary. Solves complex issues and works independently. May lead projects and/or have accountability for on-going activities or objectives.
MAJOR DUTIES
• Involved in business dependency oversight, monitoring of risks and vulnerabilities across all services. This will include the input into required Management Information reporting, investigation into areas of concern / issues, and the tracking of any required remediation
• Review all relevant resiliency metrics ensuring their accuracy and fit for purpose in supporting the Resiliency Strategy
• Inputs into the resiliency program covering the Operational Resiliency Risk Attestation framework and monitoring of Asset Servicing adherence
• Helps maintain the Value Chain Mapping documentation for Important Business Services, and co-ordinate validation through the attestation/champions framework
• Monitor and review impact of new Products and Organizational change on Asset Servicing resiliency strategy
• Engage in internal and external audits for the program ensuring timely delivery of data and effective closure of any audit findings
• May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
• 5-7 years of related experience in operational control and / or resiliency
• Strong knowledge ofoperational resiliency includingdisaster/business recovery,business continuity management, 3rd party vendor/outsourcing, corporate risk policies and standards
• Strong understanding of risk management practices including cyber security and how they apply in Financial Servicesorganizations including the impact of regulation on operational resiliency matters
• Strong understanding of data analytics and related tools including Power BI
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to drive to execution
• Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance
