Job Duties

Define, implement and deploy software application environments on private and public cloud platforms. Install, configure and troubleshoot Linux and MS Windows based environments. Perform network infrastructure design and implementation, application and optimize performance using software defined technologies at network, compute and storage layers. Configure production on VMware, and open source cloud orchestration tools. Create technical specifications, test and implementation plans for network infrastructures on cloud and on-premise. Develop API between infrastructure and software defined networks. Configure infrastructure components. Implement site-to-site VPN. Use authentication and authorization technologies in multi-platform environments. Develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications for value delivery pipelines in DevOps and ensure alignment of projects to the future state blueprints. Facilitate technology selection using Architectural Analysis process. Deliver mission critical infrastructure to assist in ensuring availability, performance and security. Technical Environment: Linux/Unix, VMware vSphere, virtualization, Cisco switching and routing Infrastructure, Nexus Switching, Network Security and AAA, storage networking, firewalls, UTM, BigIP LTM, load-balancer, MS Windows Server and networks, Data Center technologies (Active and Passive), monitoring systems, Python, Openstack, Amazon AWS, networking protocols, SDN technologies, Cisco ACI, Cloud Computing,  Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology plus two years of experience in the job offered or with software or systems development OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology  plus five years of experience in the job offered or with software or systems development. Required Skills: Design and Implementation experience with Network Infrastructure, UNIX/Linux/Windows based networks, Firewalls and UTM, BigIP LTM, VMWare and Cisco Infrastructure, Nexus Switching, VPN, Network Security and AAA, Data Center technologies (Active and Passive), Cloud Computing.
