Designs, installs and manages security mechanisms that protect networks and information systems against hackers, breaches, viruses and spyware. Responsible for detecting, eradicating, and preventing security threats in the NT environment. Reviews malware and related security events and conducts additional analytics to determine if event requires additional incident response actions by other parties. Respond to incidents, investigate violations and recommend enhancements to plug potential security gaps. Job focus is on managing others and applying operational or strategic management skills.
