Responsibilities

Application Operations provides technical troubleshooting for employees, supports internal tools, advocates for data integrity, and drives solutions for business. We are looking for someone who can identify trends, prioritize efficiently, and maintain SLAs and technical documentation. You will perform manual regression testing and bug documentation, build software tools, and identify root causes. Application Support Engineers can confidently navigate the Trunk Club tech stack, own high priority investigations, and stay cool under pressure. 

What Your Background May Look Like

  • Familiarity with at least one common scripting language such as Ruby or Javascript
  • Experience developing web applications (in any language – Ruby/Rails experience a plus)
  • Mastery of debugging and reading logs; using tools such as Splunk, Kibana or SSH/cURL
  • Previous support work with transactional environments
  • Understanding of Git and common TDD practices
  • Positive communication skills and ability to provide professional and constructive feedback
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
