Vynca is seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our growing team. You will work alongside the engineering, implementations and product teams to support the delivery of healthcare IT solutions to our clients. Your primary tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting specifications and processes, project management and testing/validation of solutions built. To succeed in this role, you should have a naturally analytical way of thinking and be able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical users verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with client stakeholders, technicians, team members and management to support the delivery of healthcare IT solutions for clients
  • Document clear outcomes, decisions, dependencies and action items in fast paced meetings with large stakeholder groups
  • Effectively document, validate, and communicate client specifications for the design and configuration of company solutions
  • Effectively test solutions in various stages of product development to ensure that they meet client needs and requirements
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
  • Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
  • Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models
  • Conduct and coordinate meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with clients and team members
  • Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
  • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends, IT advancements and opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, information technology, or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a business analyst and project management; Healthcare IT experience preferred 5+ years professional experience
  • Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects with competing resources and shifting priorities
  • Proven track record of supporting successful projects and following through on commitments
  • Competency with Slack, Jira, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google documents and Google drive applications.
  • Project coordination and project documentation experience
  • Experience working with senior decision makers
  • Working knowledge of the solution development lifecycle
