Job Description

As a key leader on the Automotive Strategic Solutions team, the Director, Digital Product Management –will partner with Account Leads, Sales teams, Technical Teams, and Industry Partners, to design, develop, and deliver innovative digital marketing products and internal training communications that drive digital education for our internal teams and external clients. This leadership role will stay current on internal and external trends and technology, provide point of view on experience design and communication strategy.  The Director will work with a team of Digital Product, Sales Execution and Account Managers to integrate internal and client communication strategies for digital products and will work on providing the necessary sell-in training material to ensure client adoption.  This leadership role will have an extensive background at automotive digital marketing and internal communication skills.

Strong candidates will have a proven track record of creating communication strategies, training curriculum and both internal and external account management skills. the best candidates will have experience working in a collaborative cross-functional context, executive level communication experience and will in general be very detail oriented and strategic in approach and communication style.

Responsibilities

·        Responsible for the requirements, approach, and vision for digital products training and communication across all digital platforms. Manage multiple implementations across the Automotive vertical.

·         Lead and define product communication requirements by analyzing and gathering input from various business and customer stakeholders.

·         Create and define training for digital products that are valuable, usable, and feasible by:

o    Gathering input from a variety of internal and external sources

o    Justifying development initiatives and expenditures

o    Analyzing competitors and market trends

o    Evaluating technologies

o    Defining success metrics

·         Determining internal or external training and management capabilities to recommend the optimal solutions

·         Develop product training roadmaps for Automotive vertical

·         Lead and motivates multiple cross-functional teams throughout the entire life cycle of product development, including deployment and post-deployment (internally and externally) of new features of products

·         Responsible for optimizing the profitability for the Product through pricing strategies, customer care save strategies, customer communication and User Interface testing initiatives

·         Provide quantitative and qualitative customer insights to drive customer facing features.

·         Lead and supervise various forms of research, included (but not limited to) contextual inquiries, usability studies, surveys, competitive analysis, and remote research

·         Partner with Creative design teams to create dynamic training curriculum that will drive education for digital products

·          Provide the customer voice through presentations and throughout the product development life cycle.

·         Provide reporting to the VP of Digital Products and Strategy and manage development status, issues, and escalations

·         Reach across the enterprise and to external entities to build relationships and consensus that help the product success

·         Skillfully communicate both verbally & in written presentation format with all levels of business leaders and clients

·         Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure optimal collateral and training solution delivery

·         

Qualifications

·         5 + years' minimum experience in product training, product marketing, digital marketing, and product management with a customer experience focus

·         5+ years’ experience in some combination of digital media marketing, search marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, direct mail marketing

·         5+ years’ minimum experience in working with internal and external team members

·         Proven track-record: past projects were consistently successful (i.e. met the consumer's need, met business objectives, delivered on-time with no/few surprises)

·         Ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly, and express them in simple ways

·         Experience in developing effective and impactful deliverables including requirements documents, use cases, FAQ’s, marketing decks, sales sheets, content review, and flow diagrams

·         Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills including the ability to provide guidance to sales and account management professionals, clients, and management

·         Strong mix of creativity, digital experience, and executive presence
