You are passionate about technology and using it to solve complex problems. You understand how to leverage people, process, and tools to build and launch products because you’ve done it before. You are an expert at managing client expectations, navigating difficult conversations and influencing others. You have demonstrated expertise in the people, process and tools required to build custom software. You have a strong agile product management background, proven experience navigating the software development lifecycle, and know how to leverage a multitude of techniques. You have survived and overcome a number of challenges related to building, launching and maintaining digital products, and are comfortable talking about what you’ve learned. You are not afraid to take charge, make quick decisions and communicate your ideas confidently. You are a doer, and you also enable other doers to be successful. You are a natural leader.

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead a growing team with a client portfolio including financial services, logistics, and commercial manufacturing on IoT and emerging technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and oversee a team of Product Managers responsible for software delivery
  • Drive revenue, both directly in client engagements, and by building an effective team that can see around corners and proactively address issues
  • Manage team allocation, maintain production metrics, and delivery process, at the highest level of quality
  • Collaborate and maintain alignment with the Devbridge Group team globally and contribute ideas on services improvement

Requirements

  • 7+ years success in a technical product management role in the software industry
  • High standards of quality and stellar communication and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional understanding of web and mobile technologies as well as agile methodologies
  • Experience directly managing a team of 5+ individuals
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and people management skills
  • Proven history of taking initiative – doing, not just talking
  • BS or BA degree, MBA preferred

This position is based in Chicago, IL. We are encouraging employees to be in the office at least 1-2 days per week now, and by mid-June we will shift to a 3 days per week in-office/2 days per week remote working set-up. At that time this position may require travel up to 20%.
