ThinkMarkets is seeking an exceptional Head of Product Management and Development to lead our product development team. This role will be responsible for our ongoing product development, enhancements, road maps, and releases, and will partner with teams globally to provide best-in-class trading applications for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead internal and external development teams through the full software development life cycle, from requirement gathering to delivery and support, with the goal of exceeding internal and external customer expectations
• Partner with designers, developers and engineers to develop prototypes and future products for our flagship ThinkTrader platform channels
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and business leaders in defining and executing on the data product road map and new product requirements
• Evaluate new technology solutions which would allow delivery of a superior trading experience
• Collaborate with information security and infrastructure teams to align on architecture and manage deployment
• Collaborate with representatives of the user community to challenge, clarify, and improve user stories as they are sized and prioritized in our backlog process
• Provide leadership and guidance to designers and developers as they build out various platforms and applications across multiple technologies
• Support user acceptance testing to ensure usability

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant work experience Product Development, Financial Services and Capital Markets
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
• Knowledge of capital markets and equities trading is a must
• Extensive knowledge and experience with the technical aspects of analytics, data science and statistical methodologies, data management, analytical and data visualization software tools and the application of appropriate coding languages
• Experience leading development teams across multiple technologies, locations, and channels (Mobile, Desktop, and Web)
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proven success building and delivering award winning enterprise mobile apps built upon a cloud-based architecture
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent project management and organization skills
