What is an Insurance Product Compliance Analyst?

Clearcover is looking for an experienced insurance product professional to join its fast growing team.  The Insured Product Compliance Analyst supports the Legal & Compliance department by ensuring our Insurance Product team meets both regulatory and statutory compliance requirements and our internal company standards.  The analyst will support rate and form filing activities.  

What will you do as an Insurance Product Compliance Analyst?

• Pre-launch state specific research and business requirement review
• Pre-launch state specific UAT and configuration acceptance
• Pre-launch state specific assistance with any filing objections
• Pre-launch state specific forms/rates/rules requirements review
• Pre-launch assistance with marketing materials, customer communications, and policyholder notices
• Pre-launch review of state specific training materials 
• Post-launch targeted compliance testing for each state launch 
• Post-launch issue identification and guidance on corrective action projects for each state
• Post-launch audit and forms and/or needed fix to such forms, including but not limited to policyholder notices 
• Keep up to date with laws and regulations related to insurance products
• Keep up to date on competitor products and any emerging issues requiring changes to current products.
• Manage Insurance Product JIRA Board Compliance for on-going issues related to Insurance Product 

What will you bring as an Insurance Product Compliance Analyst?

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-5 years of P&C insurance product experience, preferably in private passenger auto
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented person who can manage multiple on-going projects at the same time
• Takes direction well and can work both independently and collaboratively with a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access)
• Proficient in reading and interpreting statutory and/or administrative codes and regulationsAble to work in a fast paced environment and leverage past experience to make solid recommendations for the business
• Ability to work independently, execute multiple tasks simultaneously, and cut through ambiguity
• Unrivaled attention to detail and consistent delivery of the highest quality of work
