Dose Is looking for a senior product leader who will drive the strategy for the current Dose ad-tech product suite. This role will work with the Sales and Brand Strategy teams to develop new products and product enhancements with a vision towards SaaS-based commercialization of the products. This role manages the Product Marketing function while still being a hands on implementer, working closely with the Technology team to leverage existing and developing proprietary tools and data.

The Gig:

  • Own the process of gathering, documenting, and communicating product requirements
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring knowledge and communication of product roadmaps and optimal prioritization
  • Proactively recommend new products or new product enhancements that align with overall Company strategy and team-specific business opportunities and leverage the Company’s proprietary technology and data tools
  • Lead the effort towards transformation of internal managed service tools to market-based SaaS products
  • Partner with Design team on optimal product design
  • Drive customer and internal stakeholder communications (including Sales, Marketing, Engineering & QA) as the product line interface
  • Work with the Distribution team on strategy for optimizing and leveraging the Company’s impressive and wide social footprint for client-driven opportunities
  • Ensure requirements definition, review, prioritization, and implementation planning are completed on schedule
  • Ensure customer and sales validation, as appropriate
  • Gather research on competitive analysis, as needed
  • Maintain feature/function roadmap
  • Lead post-launch monitoring of product ROI and stakeholder feedback
  • Provide strategic as well as tactical support for company-wide technical solutions
  • Act as a key interface with Facebook, Medium and other partners to ensure optimal partnership relationships and intervention as needed
  • Manage outsourced technology vendors or suppliers, as needed
  • Spearhead all “build vs. buy” technology decisions and ultimate implementation
  • Ensure all tickets in queue are resolved effectively and within a timely manner

About You

  • Ideally, you have earned a BS/BA in Engineering or Technical Product Management
  • You have held a lead, senior or management level role within a product management function within a technology-driven environment for at least 5 years
  • You have a very good understanding of social media, specifically in terms of ad technology and how it supports advertising decisions across social platforms
  • Ideally, you have experience working with products that use Facebook and Instagram API’s
  • Ideally, you also have direct experience with TV viewership data and BI tools such as Tableau
  • Ideally, you have SaaS technology experience
  • While you may not code yourself, you understand what a full-stack environment is and can work closely with engineers to ensure products are built to spec
  • You have the capacity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • You have experience in a work environment where you are able to be both a strategic product visionary but don’t mind running reports and updating roadmaps yourself when necessary
  • You effectively balance planning and analytical capabilities with tactical execution
  • You are an internal leader who peers want to work with and your knowledge and opinions are sought out internally
