About the role:

At The Mx Group, our business analysts (BAs) aren’t just requirements gatherers. They’re creative thinkers and strategic problem-solvers, looking to uncover the best solution to complicated problems. Could you be one of them?

In this position, you'll play a critical role in the implementation of large multinational websites with a specialization in content management systems, particularly Sitecore.  You will also be involved in web applications associated with these websites. You’ll write user stories, generate acceptance criteria, lead scrum meetings, and gain familiarity with every step of our Agile development process. You’ll be involved in project management as well: tracking and managing the budget, reviewing sprint metrics, coordinating efforts across various team members, and escalating issues. Working with an experienced, enthusiastic team of software developers and analysts, you’ll produce applications our diverse client base — and their customers — can’t do without.

This mid-level position is perfect for a business analyst who is looking to take the next step in their career. This flexible role will provide you the opportunity to gain exposure across many areas of digital development, including custom software development, content-management systems, SEO and more. And you’ll be part of a highly collaborative team dedicated to helping you learn, grow and take on new responsibilities.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience with software projects, in a business analyst, product manager, quality assurance, project manager or similar role
  • Experience with complex CMS implementations in Sitecore, Adobe Experience or similar CMS
  • Strategic understanding of technology and web applications from a user's perspective
  • Excellent written English skills
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Interest in taking on client-facing responsibilities
  • Critical thinking skills and creative problem-solving
  • Ability to think structurally — understanding work flows and processes from beginning to end
  • Interest in going beyond technical requirements to understand why and how a system operates and what users want it to do
  • Bachelor’s degree

Why you’ll love working here:

At The Mx Group, you’ll find we genuinely value and support each other — as people and as coworkers — as we produce award-winning work together. You aren’t likely to find another team so focused on collaboration and so dedicated to success.

We’re proud of the environment that we’ve nurtured, and because of that, we’re always looking for new ways to brighten up our team’s work day. We’re more into lunchtime board games than drama, and we don’t mind throwing in a chili cook-off or a bags tournament here and there. We’ll celebrate the start of Friday summer hours together, and enjoy a week off at the end of each year.

Plus, we offer a full benefits package, including gym membership reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, medical/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) program. In short, you’re going to love coming to work.
