Who we are:
Crafty's mission is to help companies craft better workplaces by providing the services and technology to deliver a modern, comprehensive food & beverage program for their employees, no matter where they work. After operating with a vertically integrated supply chain (i.e., directly fulfilling orders from Crafty-operated distribution centers) in Chicago and the Bay Area, our team launched a third party fulfillment model that has rapidly scaled our coverage into over 25 markets globally, in just a year's time.
At Crafty, we have a diverse, high-powered team, comprised of folks in technology, supply chain operations, field operations, sales, account management, and more. Our workplace is dynamic, fast-paced, and just plain fun; we pride ourselves in having an amazing mix of humans who make up our team!
The role:
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for crafting (pun intended) your Product Vision and Roadmap by defining and prioritizing customer problems and determining scope and requirements. You will work closely with designers and engineers in an agile capacity to improve our products (and build new ones) to maximize customer delight, differentiate our offering, and power our growth.
The Crafty technology ecosystem helps workplace facilities teams manage and execute operations at a global scale for their employees. Your primary goal will be to help us build and improve an industry-leading platform that integrates the workflows of our clients, operational partners and internal teams. Our mission is to create a simple, transparent solution that automates and centralizes information and communication.
The individual in this role must be entrepreneurial, with a strong track record of building and improving products. As our product continues to evolve and scale, our product managers will need to keep in close contact with our users to develop new ways to make sure our products are solving their needs and scaling appropriately. As a team leader, this role will involve balancing and managing our product feature pipeline and the lifecycle of our products.
The opportunity:
Crafty manages global office consumption for companies all over the world. Our clients, the employees of our clients, and our vendors all interact with our technology and we want somebody who can own the growth and innovation behind our platform.
Specific areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead an agile development team with frequent deliveries to production
  • Define and scope problems for prioritization
  • Align with stakeholders to ensure we are solving the most urgent problems
  • Define and measure the metrics that matter
  • Create user stories and internal documentation for handoff to designers and developers
  • Manage & socialize your roadmap
  • Be the voice of the customer, own feedback and ideation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, client services, marketing and internal leadership to successfully launch new features

Who you are:
Your Experience

  • 2-5 years product management experience at a software company
  • Direct experience of SaaS products throughout their full lifecycles
  • Proven experience launching features that are complex and involve collaboration across many user types
  • Experience working with product designers and an understanding of design systems
  • Experience working with software engineers and a basic understanding of what goes on under the hood

Your Proficiencies

  • Effective communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)
  • Strategic and detail-oriented planner with strong ability to create and execute on project plans
  • Ability to compare competing priorities, analyze trade offs, and collaborate with others on building the pathway forward
  • Ability to collaborate across many functions of an organization

Your Superpowers

  • Strong intellectual horsepower. Superior abstract reasoning and analytical skills. Creative thinker who finds innovative solutions to obstacles.
  • A team builder, team player and leader who creates loyalty, trust and following. Collaborative attitude and desire to contribute outside primary areas of responsibility. Inspires others and is highly respected.
  • Results-driven with bias for action and commitment to excellence. Self-directed, rolls up the sleeves and engages in all activities with a sense of urgency.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment of constant change. Manages numerous time-sensitive matters simultaneously. Positive, resilient and open to candid feedback. Listens to and considers alternatives. Makes decisions.

Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required.

An Insider's view of Crafty

How does your team reward individual success?

At Crafty, if you have something nice to say about a teammate, you say it often and you say it loudly. You can nominate people for company value awards, but there's already an established culture of giving meaningful praise whenever it strikes us. It doesn't matter if you don't feed off of it, it's happening whether you're in the room or not.
