Overview

This role is a  combination of product management and project management responsibilities all in one. As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for charting out future solutions and features across multiple platforms, devices and managing projects. You'll leverage a combination of strong data analysis, stakeholder inputs and industry instinct to identify and develop new opportunities designed to positively engage customers and grow top-line revenue. To do this, you will work cross-functionally within operations and alongside editorial, technology, sales and other stakeholders.

 

This role allows you to identify potential markets, develop financial business models, create internal training and sales materials and manage projects. You will work closely with operations, technology and sales to keep stakeholders informed, continually testing and iteratively releasing work to optimize our engagement and revenue KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Must continuously develop the product roadmap priorities
  • Manage project timelines, oversee and document project progress
  • Identify and flag risks early, working proactively to remove blockers for the team
  • Advocate for the customer experience 
  • Deeply understand business needs, identifying opportunities that align with growth objectives
  • Be the authority on the evolving market and competitive landscape and opportunities to innovate
  • Be informed by data to guide decisions
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into testable product requirements
  • Optimize performance and revenue opportunities
  • Measure and communicate the performance of each feature launched, and help set KPI metrics for the teams
  • Lead investigations when growth related metrics slow

Qualifications

  • Atleast 3+ years product and project management experience
  • Demonstrated history of strong customer focus, purposeful innovation and solving big problems
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and organization skills
  • Experience developing business models and the financial planning behind them
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Meaningful experience with A/B testing and performance analysis
  • Proficiency with usability testing and user testing, prototyping, and persona-based design development
  • Profiency in Mircrosoft Office functions; especially Excel
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people and be effective leading high-quality, fast-paced projects
  • Ability to translate non-technical business objectives into technical requirements and write user acceptance criteria for the development team
