Overview of the role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Product Manager who will shape the future of our analytics capabilities. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy. You will also have the opportunity to build your own team and influence cross functional analytics hires.

What awesome stuff you'll do:

  • Define product strategy and execution plan for our analytics product roadmap
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Explore build vs partner opportunities with vendors
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Drive product launches including working with the public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
  • Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders to develop product roadmap
  • Cross-functional collaboration through the entire product development lifecycle
  • Understand the market and customer needs to prioritize roadmap
  • Ability to deliver on complex projects, manage timelines on deliverables
  • Be data driven and has experience creating long-term value for customers through product

What you'll need to be successful:

  • 5 to 10 years of a combination of product management and analytics/big data expertise 
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software -development and web technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with analytics a huge plus
  • Experience in HR or performance management preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Should be a strong team player who believes in collaboration and is passionate about building products that customers love
  • Experience with Agile and tools like JIRA and confluence highly desired
  • Ability to travel about 15% of the time

Brownie Points for:

  • Data science background
  • Experience with AI and machine learning a huge plus
  • Technical background highly desired
