About the Role

Rocket Travel by Agoda is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative Data Science team. This role involves close collaboration with fellow data scientists, data engineers, and application developers to construct machine learning models that drive our data-centric products and services. The position offers the opportunity to work on engaging projects encompassing areas such as learning to rank and A/B testing

About you:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, with at least 3 years of work experience in data science 
• You demonstrate hands-on experience designing and implementing a variety of machine learning algorithms in production. Experience with learning to rank algorithms, and deep understanding of user journeys highly desirable
• You have excellent understanding of statistics with practical experience with a/b test
• You’re an expert with Python/ Pyspark and SQL. Bonus points if you have experience with Kubeflow and MLflow 
• You excel in written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
