Job Opportunities

Supporting the day-to-day IT Infrastructure Operation, primarily on Azure, but also support services in GCP & AWS - these technologies include Servers, Databases, Networks, Workstations, Patching, Google Workspace, Entra/AzureAD DS, Reporting and other IT systems and services as directed. Implement new systems and services as directed and actively participate in IT Projects.

Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)

  • Responsible for administering and managing systems within Microsoft Azure to help us build, maintain, and deploy systems. Serve as a Microsoft Azure administrator and subject matter expert (SME), managing and maintaining the Azure infrastructure, applications, and related technologies.
  • Manage server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
  • Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
  • Monitor data-center health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed.
  •  Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
  • Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
  • Manage internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, and security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience with deploying & maintaining the following in an enterprise-level environment: Advanced support & configuration of Current Windows Server OS, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory & Group Policy Objects, MS-SQL Server, EndPoint Management, and on-premise and cloud-based servers.
  •  3+ years’ experience in a similar role supporting Cloud (specifically Microsoft Azure), DevOps, Advanced Server, and Windows PC Administration.
  • Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure).
  • Proficient in scripting with Powershell, HCL, or Python.
  • Ability to implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery systems.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with enterprise backup/disaster recovery systems and procedures.
  • System architecture design (LAN and WAN) experience.
  • Strong analytical skills include working directly with all levels of staff to determine sound solutions for business requirements.
  • Strong customer service values.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications are strongly preferred.
