The Role

A career in our Workday Human Capital practice, within Workday Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients leverage Workday technology as a tool to enhance and unify Human Resources, talent management, and finance. We focus on understanding the forces shaping their business and developing industry tailored solutions that support our clients through the entire lifecycle of the Workday implementation. Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs:

  • Streamlines HR policies, practices, and processes, while transforming the HR organization to be more effective in managing human capital;
  • Aligns HR strategy and people strategies with business strategies;
  • Supports Workday HCM US Payroll module function as applicable and preferably Canada, UK, etc. Payroll as well;
  • Illustrates business processes related to Workday;
  • Configures the Workday HCM Payroll module including associated business processes, employee review templates, custom reporting, and configurable security;
  • Operates specialist domain knowledge for Workday HCM Payroll to the business and Level 2 Support Groups; and Level 3 specialist for challenging incidents that cannot be resolved at Level 2;
  • Produces deliverables through collaborating across teams, and manages multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously;
  • Supports Global Process Owners and Centres of Excellence within the business on proposed changes being requested by the network, either due to regulatory reasons or as a result of Workday Releases;
  • Updates Workday configurations based on requirement changes;
  • Provides industry knowledge and best practices of Workday HCM Payroll business processes;
  • Participates in client discussions and meetings while presenting to groups virtually and in person;
  • Prepares concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues;
  • Creates an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;
  • Answers questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff; and,
  • Provides timely meaningful written and verbal feedback skills.
