The Sales & Marketing Support Specialist role involves extensive responsibilities, spanning across calendar management, customer meeting planning, development of presentations, event planning, and operational support. The position involves multitasking, attention to detail, and proactive planning. This is a hybrid role based in our downtown Chicago office.

Specifically, this role includes managing calendars, meeting requests, and travel schedules, as well as preparing internal and external presentations, and coordination of important company, customer and partner meetings. Key aspects include venue coordination, budget management, and post-event analysis. 

Overall, this position requires very strong organizational skills, negotiation abilities, relationship management, and a proactive approach to support the strategic and operational needs of the Chief Revenue Officer and the Sales & Marketing teams. This is a business-focused position that offers opportunities for growth and development.

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinate and support the sales and marketing teams in various administrative tasks
• Assist with customer meeting coordination and follow-ups 
• Facilitate communication and coordination within the sales and marketing departments
• Prepare and distribute sales and marketing related documents, reports, and presentations
• Collaborate with team members to support sales and marketing  initiatives and projects
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Who you are:

• Minimum high school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5 + years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, Sales Coordinator or something similar preferred
• Specific experience dealing with senior executives
• Customer facing experience
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using discretion with sensitive and confidential information
• Microsoft Office experience
• Must have strong Excel and Powerpoint skills, in particular
