About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Commission Analyst to join our FP&A team and take a lead role in the commission and compensation efforts for our global go-to-market (GTM) organization. You will play a key role in managing commission plans, developing strategic analyses, and supporting our GTM teams with detailed financial insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with commission calculations at a high-growth SaaS company, complemented by a strong financial background and financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly and quarterly variable compensation processing, validation, analysis, and distribution of compensation reports, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
  • Strategize, plan, design, and implement commission plans to align with company goals and objectives.
  • Present commission data and analyses to GTM teams, sales leaders, and the executive team, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Develop and provide ongoing standard and ad-hoc reports, and analyze historical, current, and prospective commission activity.
  • Analyze the cost of commissions per group and ensure alignment with relevant budgets.
  • Address and resolve any queries from GTM teams regarding their compensation, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Estimate commission accruals for month-end financial close processes.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies or exceptions, effectively communicating outcomes to GTM teams.
  • Provide insights on performance, evaluate and analyze trends, and serve as a point of contact for commission-related questions.
  • Assist with all revenue-related aspects of the company, leveraging financial modelling skills to provide comprehensive support and insights.


Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a compensation analytics role, with a preference for candidates with experience in a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, particularly within the SaaS industry.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and G-Suite.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, including ASC-606, is an advantage.
  • Previous experience implementing a sales commission software is a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and attention to detail.
