JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the SVP & Chief Accounting Officer, the Project Coordinator will serve as the Project Lead for the UL Solutions Global Accounting team. This role is hybrid (3) days a week based out of our Northbrook or Chicago office.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates public company activities, meetings, scheduling, signatures and attendees.
  • Establish and maintain order for leaders' schedule, desk, day-to-day tasks, etc.
  • Manage goal deliverables for global team.
  • Many project timelines and escalate issues.
  • Liase with internal audit and Sarbanes Oxley on action items
  • Support for outside spend, vendor management and purchase.
  • Manage the continuing education program (CPE) for certified accountants and team members.
  • Provide support with budgets and accruals.
  • Support the team in managing communication of project status to customers.
  • Understand the stakeholders and their needs that have been assigned.
  • Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and preferably 5+ years' experience in a financial coordinating role with project management.
  • Working knowledge of objectives, processes, and procedures of a public company financial department.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience managing SharePoint and webpages.
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work in a large, international corporate environment.
