The Account Executive in the Carrier Business Unit will be responsible for the day-to-day management of GoHealth’s largest and most critical accounts. The Account Executive will report directly to the Strategic Accounts Manager, and serve as a primary point of contact for our insurance carrier partners.
The Account Executive will be responsible for the on-boarding, management, and growth of the Carrier Business Unit accounts. GoHealth provides a number of enrollment solutions for health insurance companies, including sales outsourcing, enterprise technology development, and private exchanges. This individual will contribute to the maximum profitability and growth of client business, in-line with company goals and values. The Account Executive will be in charge of establishing plans and strategies in order to expand, retain, and renew contracts, while promoting goodwill with our clients.
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage assigned client accounts and up-sell additional products or services
- Achieve aggressive quarterly revenue targets by maximizing account growth and identifying new sales opportunities
- Manage complex sales cycles and coordinate regular interactions with the executive leadership teams of our carrier partners
- Provide new client on-boarding, daily management, and overall account services
- Apply excellent customer service skills when assisting clients with their day-to-day needs, including issue resolution and ad-hoc requests
- Provide revenue forecasts and sales activity for both clients, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare required reporting and informatics for both internal, and external use
- Assist the Carrier Solutions Manager in generating new sales materials, RFP's, sales presentations, billing support, and KPI tracking
- Work closely with the entire unit to drive client relationships and align business strategy at all levels of the organization
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and GoHealth's technology team
- Provide industry expertise and resolve issues to maximize efficiency
- 2+ years of experience in high volume client account management, consulting, or sales
- Track record of hitting targets or quotas in previous positions
- Motivated and passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving skills, with a hands-on approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Tech-savvy, with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and project management skills
- Experience in the health insurance industry or a call center environment is preferred
