Our solutions are transactional, connected, compliant and mobile.  We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Account Executive - CRM.  

The Account Executive works directly with members of the SugarCRM Sales Directors to qualify prospects and lead the sales process. The Account Executive’s primary focus is on business development through strong business relationships with SugarCRM sales staff and through targeted prospecting, as well as closing business with net new clients. The Account Executive represents Highland’s and Sugar’s value in CRM projects, including product capabilities, implementation services, support services and surrounding offerings.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops strong relationships and value prop throughout SugarCRM sales team for introductions to qualified prospects.
  • Identifies potential customers in targeted verticals using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
  • Establishes trust and rapport with prospects by understanding their business and needs and identifying appropriate, valuable solutions.
  • Conducts discovery meetings, software demonstrations, proposal presentations and pricing negotiations.
  • Collaborates with Solution Architect and/or delivery teams to define and propose solution(s) and pricing.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates initial client needs and monitors requirements on an ongoing basis.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and delivery management resources, in order to meet Highland performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

Education and Experience Requirements: 

  • Four (4) year college degree from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of sales experience in business-to-business CRM-related software and/or services (Experience in a similar technology solution will be considered)
  • Experience with software as a service (SaaS) and cloud-based technologies preferred
  • Experience with channel sales preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional team member skills
  • Successful track record of time and activity management
