What you’ll do:

As a member of the team, you will support the office with A/V needs and proactively look for ways to improve experiences of our employees. Assisting with company events and making sure they go off without a hitch. Successful candidates must adapt to on the fly requests and provide immediate support if needed. This position requires a technical understanding of video conferencing equipment, audio mixers, DSP’s, video switching equipment, etc. You will perform daily maintenance checks on equipment. Being a face for employees to come to with questions, and providing guidance how to run successful meetings involving A/V equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily maintenance of hardware and software in conference rooms.
  • Execute preventive monthly maintenance of A/V equipment.
  • Perform routine testing of projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers & LCD/Plasma Display.
  • Provide onsite support for company and visitor events (All Hands, sponsored events, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Executive Team for seamless A/V experiences.
  • Documentation of equipment and troubleshooting steps.
  • Inventory management of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot A/V problems last minute as required, as well as non-critical situations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of working with Audio Visual equipment.
  • 2+ years of IT experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control.
  • Demonstrated AV control experience (Crestron, Extron, and/or AMX).
  • Experience and knowledge of web conferencing tools such as Zoom, BlueJeans, WebEx.

Nice-to-Have’s

  • Experience with sound mixers, and recording equipment.
  • Video Wall familiarity.
  • Involved in the production of events (set up and teardown).
  • Lighting and Staging experience.
  • Partook in office buildouts.

Location

We are located in River North just right off the Chicago Brown Line stop. We also provide you with a free shuttle service to/from Ogilvie and Union.
