What You’ll Do

Networked Insights is looking for an intelligent, creative and aggressive seller to help us spread the word about an exciting new suite of technology products that will help marketers do business faster and smarter with far better results. As a Business Development Representative, you will develop leads for the Sales Directors to qualify into opportunities through email, cold calls and social media-based prospecting techniques.

You will work closely with the Sales team to introduce Networked Insights’ product offerings to innovative marketers at mid-sized to large companies.  You will evaluate prospective companies to qualify them as a strong business lead and identify the appropriate contact or decision-maker through prospecting. You will be the first point of contact in the sales cycle, responsible for setting meetings with prospects through lead generation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and create outbound communication via email and phone prospecting to qualified business leads
  • Partner with Sales Directors to create customized plans for account-based territories
  • Manage and respond to inbound requests from prospective clients
  • Recruit prospective clients to attend webinars or NI-sponsored networking events
  • Ensure CRM contains accurate account and contact details, information and history

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 1-3 years relevant work and/or internship experience in sales
  • Experience with cold outreach a plus
  • Experience selling SaaS offerings a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective problem solving, time management and organization skills
  • Self-motivated with a competitive spirit
  • Solid work ethic requiring minimal direction
