CHICAGO BASED LEGAL TECH START-UP IN THE E-DISCOVERY SPACE SEEKS AWESOME BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/ SALES CANDIDATES 

Dynamic, innovative and exciting Chicago based start-up in the legal tech sector seeks seasoned business development candidates to help lead the charge on our aggressive growth trajectory in the e-discovery space.

Our company, Esquify, focuses on technology that makes the human portion of legal document review better by improving productivity and efficiencies in unprecedented ways.  

The candidates we seek are strongly motivated self starters who are versed in law and technology and want to join a growing culture where success will yield high rewards. 

Candidates should be knowledgable in the e-discovery sector and have prior business development experience.  Those with legal backgrounds are a plus but those with strong sales experience and proven success are welcome. 

The successful candidates must plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts and to generate independent leads to generate sales of our virtual document review platform as well as our technology only solution for firms who have their own  review infrastructure. Candidates will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.

Compensation will include a base salary and commission structure as well as incentives which may include stock options in the company. 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Prepare and execute on sales action plans and strategies
  • Develop and make presentations to current and potential clients
  • Monitor and report on sales activities to management
  • Participate in sales events

Education and Experience:

  • College graduate from an accredited college or university 
  • JD or MBA (preferred but not required)
  • Understanding of and experience in the e-discovery space
  • Some technology background and understanding of tech based solutions
  • Experience in sales
  • Experience in making presentations
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals
