Channel Marketing Manager
PEAK6 Investments, LLC is an investments firm with a number of diverse portfolio investments. As part of its core investment strategy PEAK6 has developed an internal consulting organization (PEAK6 Consulting Group) that is leveraged throughout the investment lifecycle. The Consulting team’s scope of engagement can vary widely from consultative in nature only to as extensive as operating roles within portfolio companies. Each engagement is different which provides for a very compelling mix of interesting work and opportunities. The Channel Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for the management of digital accounts. He/she is a person with a keen interest in keeping the business abreast of emerging technologies and developments in the digital industry and sharing that knowledge and information with the rest of the performance marketing department. The Performance Marketing Manager drives the marketing department’s performance through systematic campaign-specific results and overall measurement. The Performance Marketing Manager works closely with all marketing teams in target-setting as well as post-campaign evaluations
Key Responsibilities
- Play a leading role in the management of digital projects inclusive of online planning and insight, online promotions, content production such as videos, online display advertising, and social media.
- Manage high quality acquisition programs, campaigns, and activities across the firm’s online businesses.
- Required to collaborate with finance, engineering, IT, and operations departments in an effort to optimize programs, campaigns, and landing pages, based on the real-time performance and ROI of campaigns & marketing initiatives.
- Work with internal production professionals and project managers in the delivery of activity, from creative brief, through design, and actual production of all digital assets.
- Partner up with senior performance management and key stakeholders in reporting back on the effectiveness of programs and campaigns, conversion rates, and online sales.
- Tasked with making efforts towards reaching as many consumers as possible by building scalable multi-touch programs and campaigns that span not only online but also offline channels.
- Employ the use of a diverse mix of marketing channels, to include SEM, SEO, display, social, radio, email marketing, and content syndication initiatives.
- Responsible for several analytical functions. He/she will partner with business intelligence team members to deliver reports detailing performance of marketing campaigns and programs.
- Leverage data to drive performance-based insights to drive optimization that will inform budget allocations, targeting and segmentation improvements.
- Actively participate in the support and development of new ideas by key marketing department personnel and other team members working on the business.
The skills you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7 years of experience working with developing marketing strategies developing and presenting custom marketing solutions within a digital marketing and/or advertising agency environment
- A deep understanding of digital mediums, technologies, and trends
- Deep understanding of Performance marketing strategies, tactics & optimization tool sets
- Highly proficient in SEM, Display marketing, Email marketing, Affiliate marketing, and paid social channels.
- Exceptional analytical skills and deep proficiency with Google Analytics
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Strong presentation skills
