Community Manager
Who we are:
Located in River North, Catapult Chicago is a selective co-working community that supports later-stage digital startups that are quickly scaling. Our unique peer-selection model creates a community of Chicago’s best and brightest, working together to grow the next generation of successful startups. Over the past four years, Catapult companies have collectively raised over $100M in funding and employed close to 600 people. The role:
Catapult is looking for a full-time Community Manager. This person will be the main point of contact at Catapult and responsible for managing the space’s day-to-day operations. While the individual tasks will vary, the goal is to provide support to our resident companies, maintain community culture, and ensure the space is running efficiently. This is a hands-on position in a dynamic, fast moving organization. It is perfect for someone who wants to take responsibility and have an impact on the exciting entrepreneurial community here in Chicago.

What you’ll do:
- Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations and constantly look for ways to improve what we do and how we do it
- Main point of contact for all of our residents, alumni, sponsors, vendors, partners, and any guests at Catapult
- Assist with recruiting companies to the space and getting them integrated into the community
- Plan and host a wide-range of educational and social events
- Create an amazing culture for our residents and ensure that Catapult’s mission is lived everyday
- Maintain the physical space, keep the common areas neat, and the supplies stocked
- Serve as an ambassador for Catapult in the Chicago entrepreneurial community
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- 3-5 years experience
- Hospitality or customer service experience
