Located in River North, Catapult Chicago is a selective co-working community that supports later-stage digital startups that are quickly scaling. The role:

Catapult is looking for a full-time Community Manager. This person will be the main point of contact at Catapult and responsible for managing the space’s day-to-day operations. While the individual tasks will vary, the goal is to provide support to our resident companies, maintain community culture, and ensure the space is running efficiently. This is a hands-on position in a dynamic, fast moving organization. It is perfect for someone who wants to take responsibility and have an impact on the exciting entrepreneurial community here in Chicago.

What you’ll do:

  • Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations and constantly look for ways to improve what we do and how we do it
  • Main point of contact for all of our residents, alumni, sponsors, vendors, partners, and any guests at Catapult
  • Assist with recruiting companies to the space and getting them integrated into the community
  • Plan and host a wide-range of educational and social events
  • Create an amazing culture for our residents and ensure that Catapult’s mission is lived everyday
  • Maintain the physical space, keep the common areas neat, and the supplies stocked
  • Serve as an ambassador for Catapult in the Chicago entrepreneurial community

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Hospitality or customer service experience
