We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to lead content development, public relations, and corporate communications. You will be responsible for the strategic direction and development of content for content marketing, outbound lead generation, sales enablement/product marketing, corporate communications/media relations, and thought leadership programs.

This position will be required to contribute heavily to our brand positioning strategy, ensuring the connection between brand positioning and message is aligned both internally across marketing, product and sales, and consistent in the market.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development of the content roadmap that aligns with overall marketing, product and company strategies.
  • Develop creative, strategic, technical and impeccably written email newsletters, white papers, eBooks, blog posts, case studies, print collateral, infographics, research studies and video scripts that express the value of our product, while achieving simplicity.
  • Leverage distribution channels to drive content engagement and achieve maximum brand exposure. Track, analyze, and report upon content effectiveness.
  • Drive the company’s media and corporate communications strategy. That includes building relationships with right team of expert external partners (press/media, consultants, universities, industry experts, etc.) who can enable us to meet business goals and executing content strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, to successfully execute their vision.
  • Manage deliverable timelines, clearly communicate dependencies, and manage expectations of team and manager.

Requirements & Preferred Skills

5 years of experience in a content marketing or PR role

  • Track record of success with content marketing in a B2B environment. Including a compelling portfolio of articles, white papers, videos, case studies, presentations, and briefings.
  • SaaS and/or freight experience, preferred
  • Impeccable writing and grammatical skills. Stellar verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to not only grasp complex, nuanced product and technical requirements, but also market them in a clear and concise manner.
  • Be hungry to learn - evaluate competitive marketing reports and trends as inputs to a scalable and sustainable outreach model for content delivery
  • Established network for local and b2b tech public relations, a plus

Leadership mentality and entrepreneurial spirit is a must.

  • Be a self-starter who can work well collaboratively, deliver on promises, prioritize assignments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • We move fast and are in a state of hyper growth. We need someone flexible to ever-changing processes and excited by a rapidly evolving business model.

Hands on experience with the following tools:

  • Email Marketing Software
  • Wordpress and HTML
  • Social Media monitoring and promotional tools (buffer, Sprout Social, HootSuite)
  • Marketing Automation exposure a plus (specifically Pardot)
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics and SEO best practices
