From proofreading to project management, the Content Marketing Specialist will assist with a broad range of brand communications needs in support of the Senior Manager of Content. We are looking for a smart, creative and diligent individual who can create and package copy for a variety of audiences (SMB, agency and corporate) across several channels (blogs, white papers, infographics, case studies, guides and more). Sprout Social works with more than 15,000 brands around the world. Companies like Adobe, Pivotal Labs, Google, Marvel and Evernote rely on Sprout to create stronger relationships with their customers through social media.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and proofread content on a daily basis in a fast-paced business setting.
• Lead research and fact-checking efforts to provide information that is accurate and actionable.
• Work closely with designers to ensure visuals and messaging are in line with content campaigns.
• Collaborate with SEO and acquisition marketing to create content that attracts new leads.
• Package and merchandise content across internal and external channels.
• Track and report on content performance, using a robust set of data and tools.
• Contribute content ideas that will help make an impact to build greater brand awareness.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Background or degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English or creative writing
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading experience (mastery of AP style preferred)
• Experience with content management systems, including WordPress
• Understanding of project management and web analytics tools
• Passion for and/or experience in social media
• Basic design skills (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite)
• Portfolio/content samples required
• Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency a plus but not required
• Minimum 2–4 years of marketing and content development experience
