Content Strategist
Hireology is looking for a thoughtful and creative Content Strategist.
As a Content Strategist for Hireology, you will author and edit diverse thought leadership and product content. You will be a critical member of the Marketing team, driving brand awareness, warm leads and opportunities for our sales team.
The ideal candidate will have experience creating persuasive B2B marketing content, including whitepapers, website pages, promotional emails, collateral, blog posts and more; experience writing about hiring, human capital, or technology solutions is a big plus.
To be considered, a writing sample must accompany your resume. This is a full-time, on-site position located in our Chicago office.
What you’ll be doing:
Creating thought leadership content to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other defined metrics (e.g. eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, emails, templates)
Developing product content (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, product videos, website copy) to articulate the benefits of our products to prospects and customers
Writing shareable content for social media channels to drive brand and product awareness
Blogging on an ongoing basis to support and promote offers and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers
Growing our email subscriber base by providing regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests
Collaborating with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience
Delivering metrics weekly with in-depth assessments and actionable recommendations
Serving as the brand steward, ensuring all messaging and copy is within brand voice and editorial guidelines
Desired qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or Marketing and minimum of 4 years work experience
Strong writing skills across channels (blog, email, social, web)
Pristine grammar, proofreading and editing skills
Experience managing web and landing pages and familiarity with web design tools
Deadline-oriented, strong time-management and prioritization skills
Ability to research and write intelligently on unfamiliar topics
Ability to communicate clearly, strongly and regularly in formal and informal client settings, as well as with internal teams
