Customer Care Specialist (Full-time evenings and overnight)

GrubHub is looking for tech-savvy food lovers to join our customer care organization. As a Specialist you will help hungry diners and restaurant partners to make take-out easy! Communicating effectively by phone call, e-mail, chat, or social media, this position requires flexibility, resourcefulness and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Support a high volume of customer contacts through e-mail, tickets, chat, and social media, as well as inbound and outbound calls
Assist our restaurant partners in confirming, delivering and adjusting orders
Perform real-time updates to restaurant account settings and document any actions taken
Partner with other Care, Marketing, and Technology teams in an effort to resolve all diner and restaurant questions and to create customer satisfaction
Follow set policies and procedures to ensure consistency, high quality, and operational excellence across the organization; meet and exceed performance guidelines for productivity and schedule adherence
Work with the leadership team to achieve specific call center goals in our pursuit to provide world class customer care
Job Requirements:
Interest in working evenings and weekends or overnight. Examples of open schedules include 5p-2a with Tuesday and Wednesday off or 7:30p-6:30a with Monday, Tuesday, and Friday off
Flexible hours a must to support our 24/7/365 growing business (including weekends and holidays)
College degree preferred, students welcome
2+ years of customer service experience preferred
1+ year(s) call center experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Masterful problem solving skills – identifying root cause, customer need and providing solutions
Strong computer skills and basic troubleshooting
Ability to multi-task and manage stress – this is a fast-paced, rapidly changing company!
A good sense of humor and a team-player mentality
Freakish attention to detail
