Our content — which includes podcasts, design tutorials and exam prep — helps architects keep pace with emerging technologies and software so they can do their best work.

Black Spectacles is a young, fast-growing company. Our business has grown every single year since we launched our first online course in 2012. To keep that momentum going strong, we’re expanding our team of enthusiastic go-getters. We’re on the hunt for a Customer Service / Office Manager who is eager to expand their career while helping us expand our business.

REQUIREMENTS

About the position:

This position involves answering support tickets, advancing our approach to customer service, as well as working directly with the CEO to ensure that accounting, human resource, and legal activities are running smoothly. Whether it's knowing what a customer is really asking, sorting through job candidates, or ensuring our vendors are being paid on time, there's never a dull day at the office. Being able to juggle multiple responsibilities with ease and working with numbers is key.

Our ideal Customer Service / Office Manager:

  • Has 5-10 years of experience in office management and customer service.
  • Is an expert in time management and scheduling activities to ensure achievement of goals.
  • Is committed to being a great communicator.
  • Loves our customers and knows how to create customer loyalty by continually enhancing the customer experience.
  • Sets high standards and serves as a role model for work performance, ethical conduct and respect for others.
  • Works cooly under pressure and is an expert time manager.
  • Is not afraid to ask questions and is open to constructive criticism.
  • Is motivated and takes ownership of their work.
  • Brings an enthusiastic attitude to work and adapts to change.
  • Excel mastery is a plus.

Location

Stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic, we noticed our employees were enjoying the perks of a work-from-wherever lifestyle and that they appreciated the work-life balance that comes with that. Because of this, we have transitioned to a fully remote workforce! Our pets are our new Office Managers.
